Smooth is the word many use when asked to describe Michael Carey. He never fails to captivate his audiences with his velvet baritone voice and warm personality. From his powerful heartfelt ballads to his energetic toe tapping tunes, Michael Carey's performances provide a delightful and unforgettable experience for all ages.

Michael Carey was raised in a small town community in Central Alberta Canada. Coming from a long line of musical genes, his family noticed unusual musical abilities at the tender age of four years old. At four, Michael was creating and singing his own harmonies to whatever was on the radio. At 6 years old Michael was taking classical voice lessons and soon found himself competing at a provincial level. Michael then turned to country and jazz music and learned how to play the guitar, drums and bass. For the past several years, Michael has toured Alberta extensively as a solo singer, band musician, harmony vocalist, duet act and music/vocal arranger.

Michael is a calm, motivated and respectful young man. He is loved and respected wherever he goes by all ages. When he can, he sings for charity. He feels most loyal to children's and senior's charities but also sings for everything in between. He is often honored for his contribution to building the community through his fundraising and charity work.

Michael's unusual intellectual prowess has provided him with a competitive edge within the musical and scholastic communities. Whether it be music or academics; Michael thirst for knowledge is unquenchable.

While he loves a good game of baseball at anytime, Michael also enjoys repairing/restoring cars with his father and older brother. He is a self-proclaimed computer buff and loves the relationship between technology and music. Michael's first and foremost aspiration is to complete his first album that is being produced by Randy Bachman. His dream is to become highly successful in the music business by combining all of his talents. He feels that if he continues to work very hard in all areas of his music, song writing, academics and technology, he is sure to realize that dream. His favorite saying is "If you can dream it and mean it, you can do it".
