![]() Ray GriffI met Ray Griff through Chuck Irvin when I was about 10 years old. I met him at Chucks house and it's a night I'll never forget. We became friends right away. He picked up a SPECIAL GUITAR and asked if I would like to sing while he played. I started singing 'Walkin After Midnight' and right away we connected and we both knew it!! Then Ray played the guitar and sang some songs for us and I remember wondering how he could make it all look so easy. It was like the guitar was part of him. He sang and talked and smiled and played all at the same time, he had us in the palm of his hand. I went home with the guitar and worked hard to try to be like him. He's been a big inspiration to me ever since I met him. |
